Contract Projects

The Olde Bell Inn, Berkshire

Studioilse in collaboration with 6a Architects created the brand concept and design for modern coaching inn, The Olde Bell Inn. In keeping with Studioilse's human approach to design, the common spaces are the heartbeat of the place. The buildings function almost like a village in itself; the main building for the overnight guests and locals, and the auxiliary buildings for private gatherings. Engagingly English, the inn features local chairs, cheese and food enjoyed in snug corners with open fires. In the dining room, guests can enjoy meals made from the best seasonal ingredients from local farmers, while resting upon Fin Dining Chair by Matthew Hilton.
